National Park

Racetrack

The Estoril racetrack is world famous and located only a short distance from Lisbon the capital of Portugal. On Portugal's Atlantic coast.  Car or motorcycle races are readily available for visitors to view.

Festivals

Traditional festivals with dancing, drinking and feasting, occur throughout the year. The Main festivals that exist are the festival of St Anthony in the capital during the 12 and 13 of June as well as the festival of St John in Braga's during the 23 and 24 of June.

Fatima

Is a Spiritual shrine that the Roman Catholics pilgrims have shown much interest after a group of children saw the Virgin Mary in 1917

Golf in Portugal

Renowned for its championship golf courses in the south of Portugal. One of the oldest clubs in the country is Quinta de Marinha in Estoril.

Alfama

Lisbon's Alfama narrow lanes of are mazelike made up of hidden churches, steep staircases and traditional taverns with an old tram still rattling through the streets.

Portugal offers an abundant amount of riding centres. With tours easily available for beginners, intermediate and experienced riders.

Fado music

Portugal's best-known traditional musical form, can be heard at throughout the cities and town at bars and clubs in Coimbra or  Lisbon.

The picturesque port houses of Vila Nova de Gaia is a must to test the palette with the country’s best port wines whilst putting the feet up and take a little bit of R & R..

Watersports

Portugal’s coast line offers surfing, scuba diving, kite surfing, and wind surfing. Sailing is also prominent in Portugal. Make sure that you check your travel insurance to ensure that you are covered before participating certtain activities.
