Resumption of Journey

Section 10

If you are required to return to Australia due to sudden serious injury, sickness, disease or death of a relative or business partner in Australia, we will pay for the economy class transport costs you incur to return overseas provided:

a) Your period of insurance was at least 23 days, and

b) Less than 50% of the period of insurance had elapsed at the time of the onset of the sudden serious injury, sickness, disease or death of a relative or business partner, and

c) Your return overseas occurs prior to the original expiry date of your cover for your
original journey, and

d) No claim due to the same event is made under amendment or cancellation costs of this policy, and

e) The death was not caused by an illness or injury appearing prior to the commencement of your original journey, and

f) The onset of the illness or injury did not occur prior to the commencement of your original journey.

The maximum benefit limit for this section is:
