The Elements Travel Insurance policy includes a $100 excess (This will apply in an event of a claim that arises).
Limitations to the Cover
QBE Elements travel insurance does not include cover under any section of the policy for snow sports or cruising. If you wish to travel to the snow for non competitive on piste skiing and snowboarding you will be required to get a Comprehensive International Travel Plan.
If you are cruising for 4 or more consecutive days you should consider the QBE Comprehensive International Travel Plan with the required additional cover and/or upgrade for snow sports and/or cruising.
The Elements product does not cover children or existing medical conditions other than those listed on the PDS as free of charge.
Availability and extensions
The QBE Elements Travel Plan is available to residents of Australia under the age of 65 at the time the Certificate of Insurance is issued. Policies can be purchased up to 6 months before the trip departure date, and can be extended an unlimited number of times up to a maximum of 12 months from the departure date.
