Loss of Income | Essentials Policy

Section 11

If during the Period Of Insurance you suffer an injury caused solely and directly by violent, accidental, visible and external means (not caused by a sickness or disease) resulting in you being unable to attend your usual work in Australia, we will pay you up to $250 per month on Plan D for your monthly net of income tax wage, but not in respect of the first 30 days after you originally planned to resume your work in Australia. The benefit is only payable if your disability occurs within 30 days of the accident.

The maximum limit in respect of accompanied children is $1,000 for each child. Cover for loss of income is limited to six months.

The maximum benefit limit for this section is:

Plan IB: No Cover

*Maximum liability collectively for Section 11, 12 and 13 is $10,000
